pp108 : Forwarding Tasks

Forwarding Tasks

This topic describes the procedure to forward tasks to other users.

Tasks in the Inbox can be forwarded from one user to another or across teams, work lists, and roles. While users can forward tasks to other users within their group, work list managers or team leads can forward tasks across work lists or teams respectively.

Important: While forwarding a task, the ownership of the task is transferred to the receiver.

  1. On CUSP > My Applications App Palette, click (My Inbox). The My Inbox window appears, displaying the personal tasks, by default.
  2. Right-click the required task and select Forward. A Forward Tasks dialog box appears.
Note: Based on the authorizations to the users, the Forward Tasks dialog box contains various options. See, Forward Tasks Interface for more details.
  3. Select the required options in the Forward Tasks dialog box as described above and click Send.

The task is forwarded to the selected work list, team, role, or user and will appear in the corresponding work list, team, role folders, or in the personal tasks list of the user respectively.
